...well, this just happened:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181963614700

I already own 80 of these and was still was going to bid... but sadly I got caught up at work and missed the auction.
But on the plus side a collector out there just got his Christmas present early fro jacuzzi :)
I think jacuzzi wanted to just get rid of these and I think he did not even thought of getting any good price for those. Anyway I'm quite sad to see that old friend had to sell those that cheap. At least $10-$20 would have been a fair price.

I remember selling these beet mats for $10-20 / piece back then. I have had these three copies over a year or something and they did not sell for any price. I decided to let them go for any price they will sell and it seems the market value for these are $0.5 / piece :) After shipping I will not even get my money back, hah. Its weird some items loses their value when for example FT Bandanas sell for $200-400 / piece and back then I sold them for $20-40 / piece too. Craazy!

Dathreep selling a DOTT Triangle box?:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221980160936

Didn't he buy it from Freddy, or is this maybe a copy he bought later (after he sold the bulk of his collection)?..
Who knows. Dathreep has not been very active lately (is he even a member anymore?). Maybe he couple of those or selling his last copy. Anyway it's very nice box and I'd say it's selling for a reasonable price.

Another Triangle box along with some other nice items... most notably the one that's in this museum judging by the slight water/discoloration damage on the bottom and top left on the front:

Also some other nice collections he's selling, a bit too much for my taste but who knows.... this might tickle someone's fancy here:
Maniac Mansion: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231801158795
Full Throttle: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231801157801

And looks like there are more to come...
I saw that too. Very nice items. I might be interested in something.

Saw that Survival Kit too. This is the first time I saw that for sale. Not going to bid but I will check out how high it goes.

That survival kit sold for a lot less than I expected... still a bit more than I was willing to spend. :)
I would have guessed a much higher price too. I hope it went to good home :)

Wow, very rare item! Its only the second sealed copy I have seen (and third one I have heard). It also suffers of the same bad shrinkwrap tearing on the sides as the copy I owned before, maybe the shrinkwrap used on these Bandana boxes is bad quality or not original factory material.

Seems very much like the Italian Monkey Island 1of which I had three sealed copies from 3 different former LucasArts employees and all of them had very bad quality shrinkwrap and had tears on the sides. Same goes to Italian Indy Fate of Atlantis. Italian Maniac Mansion on the other hand had mint condition shrinkwrap of which I had multiple sealed copies aswell.

And it's over... The final price was US $2,575.00.
A bit higher than I was expecting due to the slight decline in prices lately... but due to its extreme rarity that might be understandable :)
You didn't win? :)
