Missing Monkey Island Items

Hello, everybody! As I understand it, there are some related items for the Monkey Island games missing from the LucasArts Museum’s lists, such as The Curse of Monkey Island cloth map (which I’m not sure how anyone discovered, let alone obtained, since the only place online I can find any mention of it is in one of the threads on this site). Can any of you contribute what you know to be missing, with pictures if possible, to help those of us who are Monkey Island collectors? Thanks! :)

Hey! I like this.

As for the cloth map, I had no idea that existed either until I read mention of it on this site. I've since posted this in the Big Box Facebook group - feedback was great, a lot of amazed collectors!

And here’s a view of the aforementioned map. Kind of more in the territory of cool poster, I’m thinking, though, with those logos and all. Also another view of the cutout. And included are also the shirt (which I believe IS listed in the LucasArts Museum) and some kind of fob I’ve never seen anywhere before. Not sure exactly what that is, if the original poster of this image, @jacuzi , could clarify, that would be great!

And finally, of course, the Deluxe Edition box set

A new version of the museum is coming...
Oh that’s great news to hear! Will you be including newer games, like TMI (though that was technically developed by Telltale, not LucasArts, But was under license from them, though) and the Special Editions of SMI and MI2, too, or only older games?

It looks at the first glance really like a genuine product of LucasArts. But I´ve never seen this mug before. I only know the official drinking mug from ToMI and the promo beer from EfMI... But this one I´ve had never seen before so I think it´s not genuine. I´m missing the trademarks (at the fonts) and the print is not perfect! But I don´t want too lean too far out of the window because I don´t know every product of LucasArts ;)

You're right, it is missing any trademark symbol for "Monkey Island", but if you look closely at the Lucasarts logo, I think there is one, right where it's usually located. More like a blotch really, I don't think the printing is fine enough for it to come out totally legible. It still might be a "fake", but in that case they did a fair job on making it look legit.

I hadn't seen this before either, I have spent many years cataloging promo items and rare stuff, but some items were indeed extremely low quantity, some of them only intended for a handful of employees. Could also be a one-off, made for fun by someone at the company, in which case authenticity would be hard to define, but if that was the case it would be very rare indeed.

The LucasArts logo has a trademark, but it looks more like a "TM". This was used sometimes during the 90th but not with the game EFMI (there they used the "R").

Hey :)

OK, that might be a localization thing, I have a couple of jewel case Escape with the TM. Don't have that game in box, it's lowest priority on my list, do you have the game "R" on the box, or everywhere?
